Women’s Division Brings New Ideas
Naomi is good. I love her athleticism and her new entrance was awesome. I felt like I was back in Vegas dancing at Wet Republic. She should be a face, one that the women’s division can continue to develop around. Is she a focal point? No, but this fun gimmick gives her a fresh and unique idea.
Eva Marie continues to tease all of us with her debut, which I ABSOLUTELY LOVE. People want to see her wrestle and want to see her incredible physique. The teasing will get the fans excited and then angry. This was funny, once again, and continues her storyline in a really random and unique way.
When the Women did tag team battle. Carmella and Becky took on Natalya and Alexa Bliss. We would end up getting a 6 Women’s Tag Team Match at SummerSlam. Carmella, Becky and Naomi will take on Natalya, Alexa Bliss and Eva Marie. All you can say is WWE is riding these women to develop them in a unique way. They are giving them plenty of time and it is connecting. The matches were not great, but they are making each one unique. They are not the same old average women who have zero personality. All are really thriving and I look forward to what they can do after SummerSlam.
Good For Heath
Heath Slater is in a big storyline…somewhat. He interrupts the beginning of the show and then faces Randy Orton. Orton takes easy care of Slater, but I really enjoy WWE taking a chance with Heath Slater. They are allowing him get some great television and make a joke out of something interesting. Slater has been a guy that WWE knows they can rely on for an interesting 10 minutes a night.
What more do you want to ask for from him? He is funny. He has a great gimmick right now, one with potential longevity and intrigue. Randy was second to Heath tonight, but that is okay. He does not need more development to fight Brock. Heath is about to sign the contract, but he confuses Smackdown with Raw. One Man Band is continuing to impress me.
