Stepping Up When Needed

Jonny Gargano and Ciampo stepped up tonight when realizing that NXT’s two best tag teams are not going to be featured anymore. With Enzo and Cass on Raw and American Alpha on Smackdown, there is a huge void that needed to be filled when fighting against The Revival. TM-61 took on the champions in a really fun and entertaining match on NXT, but they are just not completely ready to be in a main event caliber match at NXT Takeover. Gargano and Ciampo, two veterans who the NXT crowd is very familiar with.

I like the banter and the digs they took on a tag team that looks like they belong in the 1990’s. It really is a clash of old school vs. new school and their encounter to end NXT shows you that these two guys stepped up BIG time. The crowd got into them and attached themselves to their gimmicks.

Currently, Josh Isenberg works for Major League Baseball in their Advanced Media Productions. He grew up in Pittsburgh and went to Point Park University, which is where Chair Shot Reality is filmed each week.
His life outside of his obsession with wrestling include being a savant for Seinfeld, NFL, NBA, MLB and many television shows. He also has an undying love for musicals, which includes many shows he was a part of in high school. Some of his favorite wrestling moments can be linked to such superstars as Edge, The Rock, Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels and The Great Khali.
