2016 WWE Mock Draft: Who Fills Out The Main Spots on RAW and Smackdown?

15. Enzo and Cass

I’ve loved these guys since Day 1, but they have exceeded my wildest expectations on the main roster. They clearly are this generation’s New Age Outlaws, down to the fact that they can both individually work. Cass showed a lot of potential when Enzo was hurt, but I also caution the WWE in breaking these guys up too quickly. Both have individual star potential, but please don’t go the stereotypical route of having one turn on the other (at least at this point). You know that you’ve hit gold when your phrases start to reach the everyday lexicon (Bada Boom, You Can’t Teach That, SAWFT). Congrats to these guys on making something of themselves.

16. Wyatt Family – Smackdown

Bray and Co. can take their talents to Tuesday nights. When I see them feuding with The New Day, I begin to wonder if The WWWWW…WWWWW….EEEEE… World tag team champions will be on both shows. You have to have tag team wrestling break up one on one matches on Monday, but still need to float to Tuesday nights. Since they are back to back, the traveling schedule isn’t too hard to do for both shows. After this feud, Smackdown should really focus on Bray Wyatt in the main event picture. He is different than everyone else on my roster and will be a guy that WWE relies on to break up the traditional characters that we have seen. Can you think of how great Finn vs. Bray could be?

17. Sasha Banks – RAW

Josh and I agreed to be short from pick 9 on, but Sasha arguably has as much cross-over potential as anyone on the roster. Her naturally sassiness combined with her presence for such a small person is uncanny. She’s a great wrestler, can control the crowd on the mic, can play caddy heel, or tough babyface; she really has it all. We’ll be talking about her feuds with Charlotte for years to come.

18. Becky Lynch- Smackdown

Again, Charlotte and that championship should be on both shows. Becky is a good fit for Smackdown, not continuously being overlooked because of Sasha and Charlotte. Becky cannot be on a show each week with Sasha Banks. People love her too much. I prefer Becky in the ring and visually, but the attitude from Sasha stunts the growth of the Lass Kicker.

19. Cesaro

If anyone stands to gain from the Brand split, it’s Cesaro. He is such a great worker, who has managed to get over with the crowd pretty much solely due to his wrestling ability. I don’t know that Cesaro could ever be World Champion, but I would love to see him at least in the mix with guys like Rollins and Styles. There’s nothing wrong with having his gimmick being that he is really good at wrestling (see the early years of some guy named Kurt Angle).

20. Paige- Smackdown

Cat fights on Smackdown. This move can revamp up Paige, similar to what was said about Becky Lynch. I would also love to see Paige team with a guy and do something we have not seen from her. It does not have to be her real boyfriend, Alberto Del Rio, but she can form a partnership and mentor from someone new or even someone who needs a jump start back in his career.

Check back tomorrow as the next set of picks are made, including some big NXT names making moves and where some of WWE’s best heels land. Also, who will be named the GM’s of RAW and Smackdown tomorrow night?
