Dolph Ziggler vs. Seth Rollins
Dolph sends Seth Rollins to the outside, working the mat technique game. They grapple up and Seth kicks him to the mat. A suplex and then Dolph hits a dropkick before heading up top. Seth hits a spinning kick and then Dolph is knocked out to the outside. We head to a commercial break. Back from break and Seth heads up top only to get thrown face first into the mat. Seth tries a powerbomb, but Ziggler side steps him with two clotheslines. He hits a splash into the corner and a neckbreaker.
Dolph Ziggler is fired up and getting the upper hand. He hits an elbow and a two count. He tries to connect with a superkick, but is blocked and Seth hits him. Dolph rolls him up for a two count and Seth lands a kick for a two count. Seth Rollins flips and tries a Pedigree. Superkick from Dolph gives him a two count and another DDT lands. Dolph tries the Zig Zag and Seth Rollins hits the Pedigree for the win.
Many reversals and two counts between two excellent athletes. They kept us on the edge of our seats and it really showcases the evolution of Seth Rollins. Yes, he is still flashy but he is focusing more on his brute strength to transition into his move set. The Pedigree is growing on me for Seth Rollins, but I could have watched these guys go back and forth for 5-10 more minutes. The timing and speed of the match was smooth and they did just enough to make this more than just another match. Good stuff.
Speaking of good stuff, Seth Rollins hits a great promo on Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose. He talks about getting his title back and not cutting corners like Roman and Dean did. They begin to exchange blows and Dean tosses him over the announce table. Dean hits a Dirty Deeds on the table and stands tall. Another strong speech from Rollins and the fact that he is a heel spitting the truth makes him refreshing and unique. He is transcending the heel vs. face argument.
