United States Championship

Titus and Rusev exchange some blows, where Titus throws him around the ring and hits him with forearm shots. Rusev battles back and throws O’Neil over the ropes and into the steel steps. Rusev connects with a dropkick, applies a headlock and slows things down. Blows back and forth, a kick to the face and a suplex. Titus connects with his finisher and Rusev is able to kick out. Rusev hits two massive kicks and locks in The Accolade. Rusev retains.

A pretty solid bout between villain and potential hero. Rusev continues to win and continues to impress in the ring. You can see how athletic he is and looks to be in better cardio than years past. I do like the fact that WWE kicked this night off with the United States Champion and Titus. We felt that there could a potential change, even for a slight minute. Instead, they continued the push and rebuilding of Rusev. There needs to be a big opponent on the horizon for Rusev. But, who?

The Social Outcasts vs. Enzo and Cass

They come out dressed as Minute Men from the Revolutionary War. Enzo and Cass immediately make their way out and cut their promo. Multiple kicks and punches from the Outcasts, isolating Enzo. He gets thrown around a bit until Cass gets a hot tag. A splash into the corner and then a big boot, followed by their finisher.

It was for what it was and that was a good promo and an average match. The outcasts get a few offensive moves, but it was all about Cass being the muscle. I like Enzo and Cass, but when will be the time where they split away from these jamoches? I would much rather see them continue to compete at a serious and high level. Either way, a quick and fun match to give the fans two men that they love to see.
