Isenberg Reacts: WWE Raw “Words Speak Louder Than Actions”

Promo City On RAW

wwe raw

Raw was carried primarily by some of their big voices and big names tonight. First, Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns join the Asylum and talk about their past. Dean tries to cheer up Seth by bringing up their Shield days. Seth talks about some good memories and then that his best moment was when he hit Roman with a chair. He talks about how Roman never beat him and that he hurt his knee by carrying the WWE on his back last year. Roman throws in a few words about beating guys and earning the championship. Dean says Seth, Roman or even him could walk out of Vegas as champion.

Seth KILLED it on the mic tonight and was a great reminder about how he can make something not interesting become extremely intriguing just by him speaking the truth. People respect and appreciate him because what he says is usually true. As for Roman, the champion needed to listen, needed to let Seth and Dean do the talking. When the time was right, he would hit a Superman Punch onto Seth and Dean finishes him off with a DDT. Excellent scripting tonight and giving Dean an opportunity to look stronger than the two guys who have surpassed him was smart.

You want to have everyone remember, even for a brief moment, that Dean can win and that briefcase could immediately be cashed in. Do I think it happens on Sunday? No, but I do think Ambrose has a legit shot at leaving Las Vegas with a golden opportunity.

Contract Signing

John Cena bashes AJ Styles, talking about he left his balls in Japan and took a bullet express to go back and get them. A nice play on words, but AJ fires back by saying that John Cena’s time is up and that his time is now. Both men go back and forth and sign the contract. The contract does not end in a huge fight, but Styles signs a contract stating that he does not need the help of Gallows and Anderson. I think that is a GREAT addition to match that already has so much hype.

This is really going to be a fun event and this match, maybe even third in terms of importance, shows you that WWE stocked this event up for a good reason. Styles MUST win over John Cena on Sunday. He can be a heel doing it, but something has to happen for him to continue to elevate himself up the ladder. He is already facing JOHN CENA. Continue his progression and rely on John Cena to get someone over. He has done it before, multiple times.
