Isenberg Reacts: WWE Raw “Words Speak Louder Than Actions”

Tag Teams Team Up

The Vaudevillians and The Club picked up a win over Enzo/Cass and The New Day. WWE gave these four teams the first half hour of RAW, focusing on their promo abilities and their fighting in the ring. It never bored me and always kept my interest. I will tell you this: WWE is in a very beneficial place because you have four teams that are COMPLETELY different. Enzo and Cass are over like rover, with The New Day right there. The Vaudevillians are the ONLY team that garners no cheer, but gets that important reaction. Gallows and Anderson are fresh, intense and impacting the division. Their name carries importance wherever they go.

With The Club picking up the win tonight, I begin to wonder if WWE gives them the titles on Sunday. If Enzo and Cass faced heel champions, I would pick them. I think they (unfortunately) are the least likely to walk out Sunday as champions. My second choice would be The Vaudevillians. Old school heel booking and the ability to make New Day and Enzo/Cass more popular by how much boos they get. Either way, another interesting match will take place on Sunday and all four teams you can argue deserve to win.

United States Championship

Rusev will take on Titus O’Neil on Sunday for the United States Championship. As Titus was heading to the ring, Rusev came out and attacked him on the stage. He beat down the former collegiate athlete and then locked in The Accolade. It took a few weeks, but I am not somewhat interested in seeing how Titus looks in this match.

Do we expect him to win? Of course not, but if he comes close and the crowd responds to his ability in the ring, he could be situated for a potential mid card championship run in 2016. I need to see a match of his where he stands out, becomes more than just a body. I can’t recall one match of his where I sat back and said “that guy has what it takes to be great.” He has been around long enough where Sunday is a HUGE opportunity for him. A great man, but is he great enough to succeed in the ring? Will he be another David Otunga or can he really succeed as a wrestler? I hope for the latter and tonight gave this feud a shot of adrenaline. The match needs 12-15 minutes at Money in the Bank to REALLY show us if he can hang.
