Isenberg Reacts: WWE Smackdown “All About Equality On The Roster”

Dean Ambrose vs. Chris Jericho

chris-jericho-2-3.jpg

This was a very typical match between Jericho and Ambrose, something we have seen multiple times. I am not saying it wasn’t good, but it was repetitive and had the makings of the definition of Ambrose’s matches: very good.

Look at it like this: WWE knows that Chris Jericho and Dean Ambrose are good performers. They can talk and they can wrestle, but can they be original when something is unoriginal? It does not look like Dean Ambrose can. You can see that he uses his body on the outside, hitting a Suicide Dive and then Jericho fires back with some heel moves. I was surprised to see that Jericho picked up the victory, but it was certainly refreshing to see that Chris Jericho is being booked like he should and not have him lose every single night. As for these two, the only one I can MAYBE see winning is Dean Ambrose at Money in the Bank. I wouldn’t hate Chris Jericho leaving and coming back 5 months later to cash in, but the briefcase is used to MAKE someone, not recreate someone.
