Well, the time has finally come where WWE is going to have a brand split up the roster and “shake things up again.” With this announcement surprising many in the WWE Universe, fans are going to voice their opinions to be heard loud and clear. The history of the brand split failed last time because it was not as thought out as it should have been. This time around is a great opportunity for WWE to develop new talent while relying on the veterans when they need to. Here are five steps in which WWE needs to follow to success this time around.
Step 1: Have One World Heavyweight Champion
There is absolutely no need for there to be two world champions and that was the biggest mistake they made the first brand split. How important would a champion feel if there were more than one? Every sport (yes, I know this is sports entertainment) has one WORLD CHAMPION. There needs to be as much exposure on the world champion as possible in 5 hours of total television. With that being said, there are smart ways to expose him, but not completely overdue it. When the brand splits, you need to have one champion that carries the gold from both shows and develops storylines that can carry over to the next night.
