In a relatively entertaining match, the faces pick up the victory. With The New Day controlling much of the action inside of the ring, it was time for Cass to get the hot tag. He came in and cleaned house, setting up for an Empire Elbow and the victory for his team.

The Vaudevillians and The New Day have done a really good job at their feud the past 3 weeks. In quick time, you were able to connect a little more with the new team while The New Day continued to impress with creativity and their unique ability to come up with some intelligent promos and lines.

I do think that The New Day wins on Sunday because of a returning Enzo. With Enzo out and apparently cleared, they need to have their match against Gotch and English before anything else happens. It benefits both teams and makes the potential championship change occur at a higher profile event.

Roman Reigns vs. Luke Gallows

The main event with The Family and The Club end Smackdown in an all-out brawl. Reigns unloads punches in the corner and is pushed to the mat, but he gets back with a Samoan Drop. With some distractions on the outside, Gallows hits a big boot and gets a two count. Roman hits a Superman Punch and then sets up for the Spear. He looks at Styles on the outside and Jimmy flies to take out the number one contender. Jimmy and Karl get involved as well, as Styles takes out The Uso’s. Gallows hits a big suplex and gets another two count. AJ Styles is upset and orders Anderson to get involved. They all attack the champion and then The Uso’s get involved. They all brawl and then Roman Reigns and AJ Styles fight to the announce table. They continue to spill the fight all over the outside as Smackdown goes off the air.

This was a really good ending because the whole feud has been chaotic. I love the chains being unleashed and WWE giving them the ability to just go crazy. There needs to be no rules, no excuses and the best man wins. That is a great mentality to have for a superstar like Roman against such an over face like AJ Styles. I am looking forward to both matches at Extreme Rules. We know that AJ Styles will most likely leave the night the way he came in: without a championship. It is not about IF he loses the match, but HOW?
