Best Divas Storyline?

Charlotte, Becky Lynch and Sasha Banks are all in the ring together and they begin to argue back and forth. Charlotte talks about the Four Horsewomen, saying that neither of them deserved to carry a name reminiscent of her father’s legendary history. Sasha and Becky spit words back and forth, as Sasha notes that she has not been pinned or submitted since being on the main roster. Becky states her case being screwed over by Ric. They both set their sights on Charlotte, hit a few moves and the champion escapes.

This is, by far, the most developed and thought out feud in the women’s division in quite some time. They have the history of NXT, the friendships and the fact that all debuted on the same night. I really do enjoy the dynamic characters and traits that each possess. WrestleMania needed this to be focused on these three opponents equally. Smackdown gave them ample time to state their cases, develop that backstory and really focus on the next two weeks of “who will get one over on the other?” I think you need Sasha to reign supreme next week, with Becky following in some fashion. Charlotte does not need to be in control.

Similar Promos From Roman and Dean

A night off is never a bad thing for Dean and Roman Reigns. Speaking their minds and telling a story on the mic helps, especially with Reigns. He NEEDS to get better and practice helps that. Tonight, both men spoke very similarly about their opponents, talking about how they have been beaten down by them. Roman took the approach of taking everything Triple H has and making it his. He talks about eating his catering, being in his ring and beating him up. Dean Ambrose talks about how he was not respected by Triple H and gave him all that he could handle.

With no Triple H or Brock Lesnar, I actually was alright with these two cutting these promos. We can have tag team matches with them over and over again, but sometimes a simple 5 minute promo does so much more. Could Paul Heyman or Stephanie appeared on behalf of their “significant others?” Yes, but that will be saved for the next two weeks. Good stuff and was enough to not bore me to tears.

Kudos for WWE in giving Dean chances to shin outside of the ring and cut promos at areas in Cincy. It felt more natural and felt like he has so much more of a story to tell.
