Isenberg Reacts: WWE Raw “Rock Revs Up Road To WrestleMania”

Sasha Banks vs. Becky Lynch

Divas action on WWE Raw features Becky Lynch and Sasha Banks. Sasha pushes Becky and then gets taken down and unloads some punches. Becky hits a springboard kick and then Banks rings her up on the ropes. She throws him to the corner and kicks away. Sasha slaps her and then applies a chinlock. She fights out of it and then rolls through. She rolls her up for a quick count and then hits more forearms. T-bone suplex and Becky gets a two count. Sasha hits a drop toe hold and then slaps her more in the corner, followed by a knees to the stomach. Becky locks in the arm bar, but Sasha breaks free. Banks hits the knees ot the back and then Charlotte comes out and tosses both women around. She assaults Becky and then Sasha tries to attack. Charlotte stands tall.

Excellent segment for Charlotte. I felt like the match could have gone a little longer, but both women were just getting started. This leaves the door open for many possibilities. I do think that there is one more woman that needs to be involved and that woman is Paige. These four stars in NXT deserve to be in the Divas Championship match heading into Dallas. Until then, book Charlotte just like this, getting heel heat by breaking up great matches. Like I said, it seemed to just be getting good until it was broken up. Give them another segment.

WZ 5.5

Kane vs. Bray Wyatt

Kane unloads punches onto Bray and sends him to the outside. Bray gets back into the ring and hits a big shot to the throat as we head to a commercial break. Bray continues the assault with a side suplex and a big boot. Kane hits a boot himself and then sets up a potential chokeslam. Kane goes and hits Rowan with a punch. He throws Wyatt back into the ring and knocks Harper off the apron. Bray Wyatt hits a clothesline and then Sister Abigail for the win. Braun chokes him out and then a double chokeslam put down Kane.

It was very interesting to see no Brock Lesnar. I really expected him to go absolutely insane, ripping apart the family and the arena. This segment fell very flat for me and made very little sense.

Currently, Josh Isenberg works for Major League Baseball in their Advanced Media Productions. He grew up in Pittsburgh and went to Point Park University, which is where Chair Shot Reality is filmed each week.
His life outside of his obsession with wrestling include being a savant for Seinfeld, NFL, NBA, MLB and many television shows. He also has an undying love for musicals, which includes many shows he was a part of in high school. Some of his favorite wrestling moments can be linked to such superstars as Edge, The Rock, Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels and The Great Khali.
