Dolph Ziggler and Tyler Breeze Brawl
The ring is decorated with Halloween decorations and Dolph applies a headlock early in his match with The Miz. A Shoulder tackle and then Miz uses a lightsaber as a Kendo Stick to hit Dolph with. They go to the outside and Ziggler tries to drown Miz in a bucket of apples. Miz gets his head in a pumpkin and gets hit with a Superkick. Miz regroups to the outside and then throws Dolph into the steel steps. Miz continues the assault with a chair shot and tries a Figure Four, but the Show-off rolls through and picks up the win.
Tyler Breeze makes an appearance and attacks Dolph Ziggler. He works on his leg and referees have to separate the two.
Good ending to the match with Dolph and Tyler Breeze. Even something this little can speak volumes in a feud. Keeping them in each other’s segment is what HAS to happen for the fans to connect one with the other. Consistency. Development. Two big fundamentals for Tyler Breeze on the main roster. Also, let this transition into a match for Breeze on Raw. Also, gimmick matches like this are just ridiculous. That is why I hate “holiday” edition of Smackdown or Raw.
A Focus on Team BAD
Natalya and Paige are in action on Smackdown, which turned out to be a pretty solid contest. Team BAD make their way to the ring and distract Nattie, which allows Paige to hit her finisher for the win.
Team BAD, with Sasha leading the way, attack Natalya. They yell about getting her attention now and stand tall. While I really enjoyed a spotlight on Sasha and Naomi, one has to wonder why they did not attack Paige? She has been feuding, somewhat, with them longer than Natalya has. I would have loved to see Team BAD focus on both women, attacking them and standing tall over two of the more “fan favorites.” This could have sent a better statement.
All in all, Paige and Natalya need to be on their own. Charlotte can be buddies with Becky and Team Bella must be the only heel group. Cut out the fatty parts of this “revolution” and focus more on less women. Focus on Charlotte, Sasha, Paige and Nikki. The rest are supporting roles right now.
