Enough Already
Sheamus, King Barrett and Rusev team together to take on The Dudley Boyz and Ryback on Raw. For the fourth show in a row, these three heels team together to take on a group of faces.
Enough already. There is no reason for Rusev to team with two other guys to take on heels. Rusev is best ON HIS OWN. I am alright with Sheamus and Barrett, especially because they work well together, but the addition to Rusev looks desperate and lazy. I want more from him, but this is only hurting him.
What is the solution? Take him off of television until Lana is ready and bring them back in a month or two. With all of the SAME HEELS, Rusev can take a break and come back better than ever. WWE tries so hard, or maybe it is not hard at all, to ruin guys who had monster years previously. Whether it was Del Rio after his rookie year, Sheamus, Barrett or Rusev, all of these guys have been so good only to fall into slight obscurity.
Dolph Ziggler defeated Big E
The last of four matches pitted Dolph Ziggler against Big E. Big E took control early and often, showcasing the strength differential between the two.
Dolph moves from a corner splash and tries to hit the fameasser, but Big E reverses it into a powerbomb. Dolph hits a splash. Followed by a neck breaker. Big E throws Dolph to the outside and brings him back in the hard way. Big E grabs a sip of Tyler Breeze’s drink, as he is sitting at ringside and gets back into the ring. Big E. touches horns with Kingston, but gets kicked by Ziggler and gets hit with a ZigZag to suffer the loss.
Big E is so good at being so cocky. I loved it. I also enjoyed that Breeze was sitting at ringside and had a roped off section for him and Summer Rae. Keep him involved, even if it is not in a match. As for Ziggler, a nice win against a larger opponent even though Breeze was trying to be a distraction. Dolph tends to oversell, but it worked with such a bigger and stronger opponent tonight.
