The Gorgeous One Has Arrived
Alas, Tyler Breeze makes his debut on the main roster, interrupting MizTV and becoming Summer Rae’s new man. He talks about Dolph Ziggler and how he looks, which leads to Breeze attacking him. Tyler and Dolph seem to be heading towards a feud, which could be really good.
The comparisons have been there for quite some time, with Tyler and Dolph looking and fighting the same style.. I think Dolph is more grounded now, knowing when and where he needs to hit big moves. He has his niche of moves and knows how to make a match progress over time. Tyler is excellent. I have always been a fan of him and think his in-ring ability is extremely polished. What makes his gimmick work is that it looks like he actually believes it 24/7. Also, he reminds me of a modern Zoolander, by how he talks and his facial expressions.
If I am booking this feud, you HAVE to get Tyler Breeze over. As much as I want to see Dolph get pushed to the top, especially with John Cena out soon, Breeze needs to look stronger than how Neville was brought in. The difference: Breeze talks. Neville can’t. Prince Pretty has a real shot at being something special.
Can Sheamus and Barrett Work?
Sheamus and King Barrett team up on Smackdown to take on The Lucha Dragons. Although Sin Cara and Kalisto got some pretty quick offense early on, it was all about the big heels getting the win. Sin Cara went for a suicide dive to the outside, but Rusev saves Barrett. Kalisto dives over the top rope to knock down Rusev, but this allows Barrett to distract Kalisto. Sheamus follows up with a Brouge Kick to Kalisto to secure the win.
I am confused as to why Rusev is with Sheamus and Barrett, aside from the six man tag team match on Sunday. Hopefully, that is the only reason. Anyways, can Sheamus and Barrett work as a tag team in the WWE?
Honestly, I think this is an excellent idea for a few reasons. Barrett desperately needs consistency on WWE television. Furthermore, if Sheamus can chase the tag team championships for a month or two, his cash-in will be much more random and surprising. I love how much speed Barrett has gained over the past few months in the ring. I enjoy Sheamus’ hard-hitting action. Both men NEED consistency and importance. I am sick of random 6 man matches where they look out of place. Pair them together and give the division even more depth.
