Brock Lesnar Kicks Off Raw
Paul Heyman kicks off Raw with Brock Lesnar in Boston. He says all focus goes to Hell in a Cell. Heyman says this is a fight that The Undertaker cannot win. They show highlights of WrestleMania XXX. Footage from SummerSlam is shown and how The Undertaker won. He continues to talk about how Lesnar will conquer The Undertaker again and out comes Brock Lesnar. Big Show says he was close to wiping the grin off of his face and he says Brock is a beast. He puts over Brock and tries to shake his hand. Brock Lesnar laughs and walks out of the ring.
Big Show calls him arrogant and says he wants Brock Lesnar to lose…again. Lesnar gets back into the ring and hits a belly to belly on Big Show. He hits an F5 onto Show and stands tall.
This was your typical segment with Paul Heyman and Brock Lesnar. It just feels more important when Brock Lesnar appears. Do I wish we saw more? Maybe some mind games from The Undertaker? Yes, but I do think there is plenty of time to do that. Also, with their history and a continued presence of each man through video packages, does it really make a difference? Hell in a Cell seems to sell itself and so does Brock Lesnar.
Six Man Tag Team Match
Ambrose, Orton and Reigns face off against The Wyatt Family. Strowman dominate Raw and Braun attacks Ambrose before he can make a hot tag.
Back from Raw and The Wyatt’s are still in control. Ambrose finally gets an offensive move, hitting a big clothesline onto Bray. Braun misses a shoulder block and Orton comes in to attack Harper. He hits a powerslam and tries to hit the hanging DDT, which he does. Orton gets the crowd on their feet, but Bray stops an RKO. Braun hits Orton on the announce table and throws him back in. Roman gets the tag and hits a big punch on both guys. He attacks Bray on the outside, but Braun chokes him. Dean hits a Suicide Dive and catches Ambrose to drive him in the barriacde. Reigns hits a stalling powerbomb and then sets up for a Spear. Luke Harper kicks Roman in the face, Orton hits an RKO onto Luke Harper. Roman hits a Spear for the win.
Yeah, maybe we have seen it time and time again. This was still wild, fun and entertaining. Randy pairs well with Reigns and Ambrose. Roman exploded offensively while Randy really got the crowd involved. Say what you want, but Randy Orton is still the biggest face in this match and the most popular BY FAR. The guy just has the excitement factor. Roman vs. Bray can be really good, if they give more creativity in the next three weeks. Do more.
