Isenberg Reacts: WWE Raw “New Day Needs A New Champion”

Night of The New Day

wwe rawBig E and The New Day attack Dolph Ziggler, so E faces off against John Cena for the United States Championship. After a physical contest, John Cena retains. The New Day attacks Cena until Dolph Ziggler comes out to try and make the save. He gets beaten down and then out comes The Dudley Boyz. They also fall victim of The New Day, who celebrates as Raw goes off the air. 

WWE missed a MASSIVE opportunity tonight. I think it is safe to say that The New Day is the most “must-see” thing on WWE television each week. Momentum is such a critical thing and WWE should have put the United States Championship on Big E. He should have beaten John Cena, clean or not, and become the new champion. This stable is built on arrogance, immaturity and celebrations. They are so good at what they do because nobody else does it in the WWE. 

New Day ruled the night. That should tell you how far they have come. They have taken leaps and bounds, but the one leap that they should have gotten did not happen.

His life outside of his obsession with wrestling include being a savant for Seinfeld, NFL, NBA, MLB and many television shows. He also has an undying love for musicals, which includes many shows he was a part of in high school. Some of his favorite wrestling moments can be linked to such superstars as Edge, The Rock, Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels and The Great Khali.
