Kevin Owens vs. Sin Cara
Owens locks up with Cara, applying a headlock and then grounding him on the mat. He slam him on the mat and Cara kicks him a few times and hits a moonsault.
He rolls Owens through for a two count and then kicks at his legs. KO catches him in mid air with a kick and then the pop-up powerbomb for the win.
I mean, this was okay. The backstage bit before Raw makes this interesting to watch… I guess? I would rather see a competitive Owens match, but this is what it is. It was a time filler and was a down part of the show. Ryback comes out and chases off Owens. This was the only sensible thing in this segment.
Seth Rollins and Corporate Kane vs. The Dudley Boyz
Bubba and Kane go at it, with Kane showcasing his hurt foot. Seth tags himself in and gets shoved to the mat. Bubba hits a shoulder block and Seth rolls to the outside. Seth kicks him a bunch of times and Bubba comes back with some chops. Devon gets into the ring and they hit a few double team maneuvers. Kane gets in and targets his leg once again as being very hurt. Devon hits a neckbreaker, but Kane comes in with a clothesline.
Seth gets tagged in and hits a punch from the rop rope. Neckbreaker gives Seth a two count. Seth tries to get Kane to stay at the ring, so the demon does not come back out. Kane is helped to the back and Rollins realizes it. The Dudley Boyz continue to take control of the champion. Rollins tries a Pedigree and both men are down. Bubba comes in and clotheslines Rollins a few times, hitting a splash into the corner and then punching him a few times before a bionic elbow. Flying headbutt and they yell for the tables. DQ happens and Kane comes back out to attack Rollins. Dudley’s hit a 3D to Kane.
I just did not like the execution of this match. It was too slow, too choppy and the emphasis of Kane being hurt was just bad. Seth kicks a table into The Dudley Boyz and the bell rang. Again, another spot where it was just slow and too long and drawn out. When Demon Kane came out, it was just simply average. This is just not really working for me and really did not make sense for a face tag team to hit their finisher on a face Kane. Yes, they got attacked on Smackdown, but it is illogical for them to do this tonight in aiding Seth Rollins. Albeit, Kane chokeslams Rollins through a table to stand tall. Again, something did not click for me here tonight.
