WZ Mailbag: WWE’s Tag Team Division, Fans Attacking Wrestlers, Undertaker vs HHH, SD! in Smaller Market Cities, Paul Bearer or Heyman?

WWE SummerSlam 2015Send in your questions to WZMailbag@gmail.com or post them on our forum at this link. Hope everyone enjoyed their long weekend, the reason for the delay. The next Mailbag will be up as usual.

It seems to me that WWE creative’s go-to move is to have a fatal 4 way tag team match way too often at PPVs. They repeated themselves at back to back ‘Manias with both being on the pre show, it just happend at Summerslam and with the arrival of the Dudleys and The Prime Time Players not getting their rematch yet it seems that at NOC we’re going to get Dudleys vs New Day vs PTP for the titles. WWE is making their own mess of the Tag division by constantly doing this match type but my question to you guys is why doesn’t WWE just have two teams go at it and what is their constant need to display half of the division in one match?

The main reason they do that is likely because they don’t trust two teams to put on a show, it’s truly unfortunate really. The second reason is that they want to showcase the whole tag team division. WWE has had a shortage of good tag teams in the last 5 years, so they want us to take in everything that is happening and show us that they are working on the tag team division to succeed, when in reality it’s nothing close to succeeding.

Few weeks ago it was reported how a fan attacked Roman Reigns. Do you think the security should be in every corner of the arena to protect these superstars? How about a new policy where a fan who attacks a superstar is no longer allowed in any wrestling events?

Am I missing something? They already do as much as they can to protect the wrestlers. They have these policies in place already. With that in mind, you don’t want to take the experience away with having too much security. It’s up to the fans to not act like a bunch of morons, really.

Who do you think was the better manager, Paul Bearer or Paul Heyman

That’s is a tough question. Many things go into that, but I don’t want to go much into that because opinions will vary so much, and I want you people to decide for yourself as I don’t want to sway your opinion. I will, however, say that with the current product Paul Bearer would not even compare to Heyman because of how Heyman delivers his promos. Don’t get me wrong, Bearer was very good at his job, but would he really be better than Heyman is now? I’m not saying that he is better as they performed in different eras, that is up to you to decide.
