Don’t you think the “end of an era match” WM match between The Undertaker vs Triple H, as Shawn Michaels was the special guest referee should have been the last match of the PPV, instead of The Rock vs John Cena. I mean, what a great moment it was after the match when Undertaker, Shawn Michael, and Triple H were holding onto each others.
The moment itself was good enough to main event Mania. The Cena-Rock match was nothing special, and considering they would then go on to make it ‘twice in a lifetime’, the Taker-HHH match should have gone last.
Ever since WWE Brand Extension ended, it seems as if though SmackDown tapings are either held in smaller markets such as Green Bay, Bridgeport, Omaha or Fresno or in larger cities that are traditionally weak WWE markets such as Seattle, Kansas City, Jacksonville or Charlotte. During the days of WWE Brand Extension, top WWE markets such as Chicago, St. Louis, New York City or Los Angeles are guaranteed a SmackDown taping but are relegated to hosted only RAWs and PPVs these days. Thoughts?
Smackdown is just not relevant enough, I guess. It’s not what it used to be. Smackdown does not even compare to Raw anymore, so it makes sense they are running smaller markets much like Indy promotions. The days of having SmackDown competing with Raw are long gone.
Do you enjoy playing the WWE 2K games?
I haven’t played the games too often but I was a fan of the original Smackdown Vs Raw series. From what I have experienced, yes, I did enjoy the games.
