Eric Young vs. Chris Melendez
Young attacks Melendez as he made his way down the ramp. Sarge fights out of some moves from Young and lands a Full Nelson Slam, getting a two count. Young places his feet on the ropes after a reversal and beats Melendez. After the match, Eric Young screams for his prosthetic leg. Finally, he is able to get the leg and runs around like he just won a world championship.
Hopefully this is the end of this ridiculous feud because I am sick of seeing Eric Young feud with a fake leg. Nothing against Melendez personally, but he will never be able to be a big success in the company. I wish he could break that barrier, but it is very unlikely. Young is too good of a really bad heel to not produce great wrestling matches and better feuds.
DJ Z vs. Sonjay Dutt vs. Tigre Uno (c)
The X-Division Championship featured three great athletes competing in a high-paced match. Out of these three guys, I feel like DJ Z needed the victory. Ever since his split from The BroMans, he has been unable to find his niche and consistency. Uno picks up the win and retains the championship, which was not a bad call.
I just feel like TNA relies on guys (in the X-Division) with little character development and just someone who can put on good matches. Simplifying gimmicks make the fans lose interest after a few minutes. Either way, TNA needs to revamp the X-Division and make that happen fast. This used to be full of talent, full of personalities.
