Isenberg Reacts: WWE Raw “Surprise Returns Shake The Core”

Team PCB on MizTV

wwe rawCharlotte, Becky Lynch and Paige came out and they begin to talk about Ric Flair. He says it is not about him and it is about the girls. They credit the other two to succeed. He said a rarity that three beautiful women that get along. They said they are more about looks and says that they will take on any man, woman, animal, etc.

Paige says they are here to prove they are in the era of the female athlete. They get interrupted by Team Bella. She cuts a promo on them not being dominant and all of them talk trash. Brie and Nikki continue to ramble on and she talks about becoming the longest reigning Divas Champion in history.

These teams go at it and exchange some big moves back and forth early. Nikki locks in a one leg crab. Charlotte kicks out and spills Nikki to the outside. The end of the match saw Nikki, Brie and Alicia taking over and dominating Paige for the win.

Plenty of time was given to these teams, much to my enjoyment. It was not the absolute best segment, but you got what you needed. We need to see individual personalities. Nikki kicks Charlotte even more and pick apart the daughter of The Nature Boy. The crowd seemed to check out, but it was a very solid outing. I am not sure why Sasha Banks, Naomi and Tamina did not come out. It seemed to make no sense to me, but we will see what is next for them.

Jon Stewart, Ric Flair and John Cena

Jon Stewart comes out and says he upset some people. He said some people were happy about what he did. He says what he did was not about helping Seth Rollins or The Authority. He says it was because he could not let John Cena tie The Nature Boy for the 16 time world championship record.

Ric Flair makes an appearance. “The Nature Boy” Ric Flair made his return to the WWE on Raw. He came out and spoke with Jon Stewart, who said he could not see John Cena tie Ric Flair’s record as the most world championships in history. He said he was pulling for John Cena. He says he wants it to be broken by someone he respects. He calls himself the greatest of all-time and says Stewart messed up everything. Out comes John Cena and he runs down why the US title means to him and his opponents he has faced.

Jon Stewart got his moment. Cool, but the reasoning was a little ridiculous. He seemed really comfortable and in his own glory world the past few nights. I do not think we see more of him, but I was not against this. It gives WWE mainstream attention and now they can move onto bigger and better things for John Cena.
