Isenberg Reacts: WWE Raw “Last Stop Remains Hot For SummerSlam”

Randy Orton and Cesaro defeated Kevin Owens and Sheamus

wwe rawRandy Orton and Sheamus really get going after a commercial break, with Sheamus targeting his lower body. Owens comes in and cleans up, hitting a splash and a few suplexes. Orton is finally able to tag in Cesaro and he unloads many uppercuts and a cross body for two. Cesaro gets hit by Sheamus from behind. Orton tags himself in and hits a hanging DDT.

Orton hits an RKO on SHeamus for the win, while Cesaro holds Owens from getting into the ring.

Good action to kick off Raw tonight and featured two of the singles matches that will take place on Sunday. I really thought Cesaro getting the hot tag was perfect. The crowd is really getting behind Cesaro, deservedly so. I like the faces getting the win, especially since both of the faces should NOT win on Sunday. Good action and did not give away too much tonight.

Roman Reigns vs. Luke Harper

Harper works on the neck of Reigns and connects with a suplex driver and a headlock to follow. Roman fight back, only to get an WICKED boot to his face from Harper. More submissions and Roman is able to fight out of it. Roman hits a few clotheslines and then a leaping one. He hypes the crowd up, but Harper hits him with some knees. Roman comes back with a suplex and keeps coming with clotheslines. Harper is spilled to the outside and Reigns hits a clothesline from the apron.

Both men hit some moves and Reigns rolls him up for a two count. Harper is on the outside and Reigns throws him back into the ring. He tries a Samoan Drop and Harper hits multiple elbows to his neck. He ends up getting taken down with the drop and a two count occurs. Harper hits another kick to Roman and then gets hit with a Superman Punch while attempting a Suicide Dive. Harper catches up with a spinning side suplex for two. Harper tries a powerbomb, slides underneath and hits a kick and powerbomb combination. Superman Punch and a Spear gives Roman the victory.

Roman Reigns has gotten so much better in the ring. Excellent back and forth between two heavyweights who have much more agility than people give them credit for. I was really happy that this was a clean pinfall and that Bray sat back and watched. He is all about the mind games. Who wins on Sunday? I can make an argument for both teams winning, but I do think that Bray Wyatt and Luke Harper need it much more. I just see more main event potential for Reigns and Ambrose right now.
