Isenberg Reacts: WWE Raw “Last Stop Remains Hot For SummerSlam”

The Miz vs. Ryback

wwe raw Miz works on Ryback’s leg and then kicks him a few times. He kicks Ryback in the head and then continues to stomp away. Ryback catches his leg and begins to hit some shoulder blocks and then a press slam.

Ryback sets up a meathook clothesline, connecting and then setting up a Shell Shock. Miz grabs the ropes and then kicks Ryback in the face. Ryback catches him and then hits a stalling suplex into a Shell Shock for the win.

It seems like WWE could care less of having The Miz look the least bit intimidating. I just am not sure why they put him in the match and continue to make him look SO weak. At least give him some importance. They did not and they just wanted to tease Big Show and Ryback. Why not give Miz a chance?

Contract Signing on Raw

Seth Rollins talks about how times are changing and how he says John Cena is holding the WWE hostage for the past decade. He says John Cena is a disease and talks about his knee breaking his nose. Rollins says he is going to free every person in this room. Rollins says he is going to crush his legacy and crush his face again. He calls John Cena pathetic and here comes Cena.

John Cena gets into the ring and starts to speak. He talks about the building saying nothing about Seth Rollins. He talks about Triple H’s legacy living forever in him and calls himself the real champ. Cena said he has time to think about payback and say he breaks his nose or maybe his arm. He says he becomes the champion for the 16th time and says Triple H and Seth Rollins lose. He brings up Ric Flair and says he will pass his reign on Sunday.

I loved it. I loved how Seth Rollins annihilated John Cena before he came out. The promo was excellent, intense and very intelligent. Seth keeps up with the current times and also adds in some history. He gets it. He gets the connection with the crowd and gets that people will boo him with the easiest of ways when bringing up their sports teams. John Cena came out firing on all cylinders. Does Triple H get involved now? To preserve Ric Flair’s record? Interesting twist for Sunday.

Currently, Josh Isenberg works for Major League Baseball in their Advanced Media Productions. He grew up in Pittsburgh and went to Point Park University, which is where Chair Shot Reality is filmed each week.
His life outside of his obsession with wrestling include being a savant for Seinfeld, NFL, NBA, MLB and many television shows. He also has an undying love for musicals, which includes many shows he was a part of in high school. Some of his favorite wrestling moments can be linked to such superstars as Edge, The Rock, Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels and The Great Khali.
