WZ Mailbag: The Status Of WWE’s Divas Division, TNA Going ‘Belly Up’, The End Of The Authority, When Will Sting Return?, More

The Authority angle is way past its shelf life. It’s stale and boring. So I have two questions. When does the Authority end? I hope we aren’t here next year at this time with the Authority still around. And why does WWE always rely way to much on the heel authority figure? Whether it’s The Authority, John Laurinitus, Vince McMahon and the corporation and many others.

I’ve been saying that for at least a year now and look where we are now. I honestly don’t know what it is with WWE and heel General Managers. The angle is so repetitive and no longer works. I’m assuming that they break up around WM 32 for the WWE to start a brand new storyline (something with another heel GM, probably), something they love doing at the end of the first Raw after Mania. I wouldn’t hold your breath at this point, we still have another 6 months until there is possibly talk of them breaking up.

Do you think WWE should improve their divas division. I mean they barley have good story lines, and divas matches usually last 10 minutes or sometimes little less than that. As far as I know TNA has best divas matches, even though we might say how TNA is doing a bad job, however can can admit that their divas division does well.

Saying that the WWE Divas have barely any good storyline is a stretch…they don’t have any storylines. At this point all the Divas matches are meaningless. They switch from heel to face every second Raw. The TNA Knockouts division is booked so much better, WWE should model the Divas division after theirs. To say that the Divas division needs help is an understatement, it seriously need a full transformation, much like the tag team division, for it to seem like a legitimate wrestling division. Until then, it will just be another ‘bathroom break’ for many fans – it’s too bad because most of the Divas have a lot of potential and talent.

What if this happens. Let’s say for example Kane was supposed to win the WWE Royal Rumble Match, and instead he gets eliminated. How do you think WWE will handle who should win the WWE Royal Rumble match since the guy who was supposed to win has been eliminated?

My guess is that they would just play it off like nothing happened and then get ‘Kane’ into the main event through a feud or something along those lines, kind of like the Daniel Bryan “Yes Movement” where the fans invaded the ring.
