Sheamus vs. Neville
Two differing opponents face off, with Sheamus controlling early and then getting kicked to the outside. Back from break and Neville connects with a clothesline. Sheamus fights back with three Irish Curse back breakers.
Neville connects with a moonsault onto Sheamus. They get back into the ring and Neville sets up Red Arrow. He gets kicked off the ropes, but rolls him up for a two count. Sheamus kicks him in the knee and then finishes him off with a Brogue Kick.
Solid match between both competitors. Nothing spectacular, but nothing bad about it. Neville will be a guy that can lose and people will still tune in to see him. They could have went the upset route, but I am glad they didn’t. Sheamus needs to pile up wins more than losses, even with the briefcase.
Another Meaningless Night For The King
Barrett comes out and faces off against Jack Swagger. He says every opponent will bow down to the king before their match. The match is your usual match, with Barrett hitting with a Bullhammer.
What is the point? WWE has already dropped the ball with the King Barrett gimmick. People just do not care for a gimmick that does NOTHING. When you lose to R-Truth, you are pretty much booked into irrelevancy.
