Sheamus defeated Dolph Ziggler
Rusev comes out early in the match and pleads Lana to come back to him. Lana turns her back and walks away, and Rusev screams and says this is it and storms off.
In the match, Dolph ducks a Brogue kick and goes for a rollup, but Sheamus hits a few kicks and sends him to the outside. Back from the break and we see Dolph connects with a neckbreaker and a superkick. He heads up to the top, but Sheamus knocks him down and catches him with a Brogue for the win.
A revamped Sheamus is really intriguing me. His entrance makes you feel like you are waiting for someone really important. From the music to the timing of the lights. There has never been a question of “can he go?”
Sheamus is very underrated in the ring and his speed is just as impressive as his timing and his athleticism. Dolph picks up a loss, but does it really matter for him? My bigger concern is what the hell will happen with Lana? Does she need something, or someone, more important to work next to? If he continues to lose, what does that make Lana?
Alicia Fox defeated Naomi
Last time I checked, Alicia Fox and The Bellas are heels? Also, Isn’t Naomi a heel as well? Has WWE completely forgotten character development with these WWE Divas? What is going on here? Who is the number one contender? Why was Paige taken off to do Tough Enough when her biggest strength is what she can do IN the ring?
