Kevin Owens Talks Respect
After a loss from John Cena at WWE Money in the Bank, Kevin Owens says he was disrespected when John Cena told him he belongs here. Owens yells that he knows this and does not need his approval. He also talks about how he wants another match and wants the United States Championship. With no Cena, Dolph Ziggler steps up to the plate for a match.
Owens and Ziggler go at it, connecting on some great spots. The biggest plus of this match was how smooth it was. Ziggler can sell a bible to Satan. I love the powerbomb move from K.O. Dolph does his usual late flurry of offense, a DDT and a Fameasser for close counts.
Kevin Owens picks up the win in a very high contested fight. This does more for Ziggler than a victory. David Herro called him the modern-day Tito Santana. I am beginning to think that Dolph Ziggler may never win a big match again. Is that good or bad? He is so protected right now. Win/lose/draw, we still root for him.
Mr. Money in the Bank
Dean Ambrose vs Sheamus
Sheamus and Dean Ambrose exchange blows back and forth until then Sheamus sends Ambrose outside and whips him at the steps. We head to a break.
Back and we see Dean Ambrose hitting a neckbreaker and fighting out of an attempted submission hold. Sheamus escapes the ring and Randy Orton appears. Dean Ambrose uses the distraction for the win.
Later in the night…Randy Orton loses to Kane thanks to a distraction from Sheamus. The briefcase holder gets a piece of revenge.
Alright, WWE wants to go with Sheamus vs. Randy Orton for some unknown reason. I would actually do Bray Wyatt vs. Randy Orton and Sheamus vs. Roman Reigns. Reigns needs a true heel to face, not a guy that people LOVE. Although I am intrigued by the storyline and by the potential, I think it may be a lose/lose situation for Roman Reigns.
I give WWE credit for going out on a limb, but the repetitiveness of Randy vs. Sheamus is going to only bother me. Why would I care to see their Pay-Per-View match when they have fought on Raw about 100 times over the past two years.
