Fatal Four Way For The WWE World Heavyweight Championship
Everyone is getting their hands on the champion. Roman and Dean head into the ring and target Seth Rollins. Kane gets involved and hits Dean Ambrose. J and J Security and Kane attack Randy Orton on the outside. Seth hits a drive-by and is in control in the ring. Seth hits the powerbomb and then kicks Ambrose in the face.
Dean Ambrose fights back and Kane gets into the ring to chokeslam Dean Ambrose. Seth only gets a two count. Randy Orton trips Kane and Roman Reigns hits his patented kick. Orton hits a powerslam onto Seth and gets a two count. Randy hits a superplex and then hits a backbreaker onto the barricade. Randy rips apart the announce table for a big spot. The Shield all beat down Randy Orton, which was a fun spot to see. The Shield sets it up and powerbombs Randy Orton through the table. Seth puts his fist out and gets attacked by his former partners. Kane gets involved…again. Reigns powerbombs Kane on the table on Seth Rollins, does it again and the table finally breaks. Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose get into the ring to square off.
The two men go back and forth, punch for punch. He misses a Superman Punch and then connects with one for a two count. Roman Reigns hits a Spear and Seth Rollins saves his championship. Superman Punch and Dirty Deeds to the champion. Kane drags out Dean Ambrose and hits him with steel steps. He takes out Roman Reigns as well. Randy hits an RKO on J and J. He connects with a DDT and looks to hit an RKO. Kane gets hit with an RKO and Rollins connects with a Pedigree to pick up the win.
All four men showed up tonight and delivered. It was excellent to see the future of the WWE leading the way with this main event. Randy Orton is always going to be consistent, a guy that can elevate any match with his longevity and his credentials. I really hate how much Kane was involved. It would have been much more impactful if he only did one or two things and kept the fans guessing what he was going to do. Instead, he was used way too much and continues to be thrown above the bigger and better storylines. It was a great match, even though less with Kane is more. Seth Rollins won’t lose the title, but WWE gave us a few times where we thought “what if?”
FOCUS ON YOUR FUTURE, NOT KANE.
