The Problem With The Main Event

wwe smackdownRoman Reigns vs. Kane main evented the night in a decent match. We saw the usual match with Kane and Reigns, as Reigns battled back late to pick up the win with a Superman Punch and a Spear.

My biggest issue with this whole feud is with one person: Kane. I understand how good he was and how much he meant to the WWE, but this is the second Pay-Per-View that the storyline has pretty much revolved around him. Seriously? What is the point of this stupid stipulation with Kane not being a member of The Authority?

If people cared about Kane, the ratings would be higher and people would actually invest their time. I know I can say that I would rather have a storyline built around 3-4 other guys than him. How about the guys that are actually fighting for the freakin’ championship on Sunday? That would only make sense, huh?

He also has an undying love for musicals, which includes many shows he was a part of in high school. Some of his favorite wrestling moments can be linked to such superstars as Edge, The Rock, Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels and The Great Khali.
