Do you believe in any of the Chris Benoit conspiracy theories?
Ah, another Benoit question to tackle. There are so many conspiracy theories on the internet about Benoit, obviously many are pure fiction but there are some compelling theories. I know this may sound odd coming from me but I am on the fence about this one.
On one hand there are a lot of things that don’t make sense such as some of the text message he sent to people before the murder, they just don’t add up to me. Would a man with the brain of an 85 year old Alzheimer’s patient really be sending all those things out? On the other hand the man had the brain of an 85 year old Alzheimer’s patient, anything is possible when you’re in that state. It is just so hard to figure it out as we don’t have all the details.
Does the Fatal 4 Way at Payback possibly ruin the anticipation for a Shield Triple Threat for the title at SummerSlam or WrestleMania?
I wouldn’t say it ruins the anticipation as it does involve Orton and because those events are so far away. As much as I would love to see a Shield Triple Threat match really soon, I expect it to happen at WM 32 because of the card they have to fill to make it the best WrestleMania in WWE history. I am not worried about ruining the anticipation, I’m worried about WWE not having that match at all.

Who is the biggest “bust” in WWE history?
In WWE history, there have been many guys that have reached the top of the mountain when they had no reason to be there. We saw guys get catapulted into main events like The Great Khali, Vladimir Kozlov and Mr. Anderson. Along the lines of busts, names like those, Sin Cara, Dr. Death, Scott Steiner and others come to mind. When someone is pushed so hard and deemed as the successor to Hulk Hogan only to fail, he MUST be the biggest bust of all-time.
Lex Luger had a million dollar look, but could not draw a dime. Lex had plenty of success in the NWA, feuding with the likes of The Four Horseman and Ron Simmons. When the WWE came knocking, they went all out for this guy. He became “The Narcissist” and had very little success in that gimmick.Transitioning into a better gimmick, Luger became the guy that would carry around the American flag on a weekly basis, having patriotism as his best quality. On tour buses and touring through the United States of America on his own bus, Luger was given every single opportunity to succeed. He was a co-winner of the Royal Rumble in 1994 with Bret Hart and would be disqualified at WrestleMania X against Yokozuna. After this awful main event, WWE realized that he was nothing more than a mid card talent at best. He would fall into irrelevancy, trying to form a tag team called “The Allied Powers.”The writing was on the wall for Luger, as he would finally depart and become one of the biggest busts in WWE history. His ring work was stiff. His mic work sounded like a pubescent boy trying to talk to his high school crush. His gimmick was great, but even the great country of the United States of America could not make him into a Superstar.Lex Luger is the Ryan Leaf, the Tim Couch, the Greg Oden of WWE.
