Isenberg Reacts: WWE Raw “Payback Will Be A…Well, Different”

 Daniel Bryan Says Goodbye…For Now

wwe rawIt was a sad night for Daniel Bryan and his fans around the world when he dropped the title due to injury. I really think this could be the last time we see Bryan for a while. Injury after injury is piling up and I wonder if WWE will even try and risk his health again. He is an incredible performer and has the fans eating out of the palm of his hand every time he appears.

Daniel Bryan needs to get healthy. Fully healthy. I would keep him off of ring work for about a year. Bring him back the night after WrestleMania 32. Capitalize on an incredible return and give no hints. As for the title, the Intercontinental Championship inside Elimination Chamber is a great idea. It benefits so many guys and makes the title feel important. Main Event the PPV in a few weeks and let a handful of guys get the chance. Dean would be the front runner 2 weeks ago. Right now, I am not sure.

Randy vs. Rollins Ends The Night

Via WZ Live Coverage:

Randy Orton hits Rollins and whips him into the corner, then he hits a backbreaker before Rollins hits a STO into the turnbuckles. We get back from a break to see Orton catch Rollins off the ropes and slam him for a two count, then Rollins knocks Orton outside and dives on him on the floor. Orton makes a comeback and hits a DDT, then he calls for a RKO but Mercury and Noble run in and attack, causing a disqualification.

Orton fights them off and whips Noble into the ringpost, but Rollins attacks from behind and stomps Orton on the mat. Kane comes out and grabs a chair, but stays at ringside as Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose run out for the save. Ambrose hits Dirty Deeds on Rollins, then they all move towards Kane, but he stays put. Reigns spears Rollins, almost taunting Kane to come help, but Kane stays put as Orton hits a RKO. Following this, Reigns spears Orton, but Ambrose turns and drops him with Dirty Deeds, to the delight of the crowd.

We get a WrestleMania match to end Raw a week before a May Pay-Per-View.I was surprised to see Dean stand tall once again. They have pushed him hard the past two weeks. Randy Orton is still viewed as a potential world champion, with Reigns and Ambrose “in waiting.” Seth Rollins will not lose the WWE World Heavyweight Championship before SummerSlam. Mark my words, but it is still entertaining to see younger guys getting a chance at leading the way on a consistent basis.
