Dean Ambrose defeated J and J Security
Raw kicks off with The Authority getting a few insults from Triple H. He sets up Dean Ambrose, who starts hot. He clotheslines both me on the outside. Back into the ring, Noble and Mercury get some offense in, including a clothesline and some submission holds. Ambrose continues to fight back and hits another patented clothesline before connecting with Dirty Deeds for the win.
This was the first time that I did not hate seeing J and J in a match. Dean Ambrose looked really good and the hometown fans made it exciting. J and J need to go away and this could be a good opportunity for them to be written off of television. Can we REALLY see them in 2 months? Give Seth some real protection.
Dolph Ziggler and Sheamus Set For Payback
Dolph Ziggler loses to King Barrett in a physical match that had Ziggler distracted by Sheamus on the outside. King Barrett picks up the win and Sheamus gets the upper hand heading into Sunday.
I have been a big supporter of this feud and think that it comes down to this and next month. There is no doubt that Sheamus NEEDS to win this match. There is no reason for him to lose two straight to Ziggler and get another loss on a PPV. With no dumb stipulation, they can focus on what they do best and that is excellent wrestling and a focus on developing a story inside of the ring.
