It’s easy to see why. Physically, she may be the most attractive woman on the roster. She’s got a smile that instantly melts your heart. She wears actual clothing to the ring, leaving more to the imagination than any of the Divas. Lana comes across as intelligent and well-rounded. She is much more than an object of sexuality; the kind of girl you’d want to be with, rather than just sleep with.
There was another woman, once upon a time, who got over without ever lacing up a pair of boots. She never had to take off her clothes, always dressed conservatively, and was deeply devoted to one man for the entire length of her career. Her name was Elizabeth Hulette, and she became the most beloved female character in the history of professional wrestling.
Lana is a ponytail away from being the next Miss Elizabeth.
And that’s what we’re here to discuss – what options does WWE have in dealing with the current “Lana Problem”? Do they turn her babyface? If so, what happens to Rusev? Will she wrestle? Can she wrestle? Will she manage someone else? Is there a way to get the fans to stop cheering for her?
I believe there are three options the WWE can utilize. One is unlikely and potentially harmful, another is likely and very risky, and the last option I believe serves all masters and perfectly solves all their problems.
Let’s get the bad idea out of the way first…
