Isenberg Reacts: WWE Raw “A Night of Excellent Execution”

Adding Dean Ambrose is The Right Call

The main event of the night saw Roman Reigns and Randy Orton facing off. It seemed like they were short on time, simply because of the great matches that we saw earlier in the night. It made no difference because the point was made.

The Authority attacked and would beat down the two men, until Dean Ambrose came out. Roman Reigns hit a Spear onto Seth Rollins, while Orton hit an RKO onto Reigns and Ambrose hit Dirty Deeds onto Randy. The Lunatic Fringe stood tall to end the night, which was the absolute right thing to do.

We know that Dean Ambrose may not win at WWE Payback. Hell, it is very unlikely. Dean needs to accumulate wins, but losing in the main event over a victory in the second match of the night is so much more important for his development. I thought that he finally showed me something tonight. He showed me that he belonged in the main event with these three guys, adding more intrigue and a shot of adrenaline. He is unpredictable, unique and someone that can really get the most out of Seth Rollins in the ring. This could be a really great main event in less than two weeks and Ambrose is a big boost.

At the end of the day, Seth will pin Dean. It saves Randy Orton. It protects Roman Reigns. It makes sense. Do not hate this and crap all over it, saying Ambrose got buried. If anything, he is finally alive.
