Kenny King is New X-Division Champion
After an excellent Ladder Match on Impact, Kenny King walks away with the X-Division Championship. Plenty of spots and an event better pacing of how to plan spots, King becomes the champion and this is the right call for TNA.
I really like Kenny King and think he is a guy that needs to have longevity as champion. With the BDC, King was a guy that did short promos and would attack on behalf of MVP. He is so much better as a champion and a guy that has a target on his back because he garners so much heat from the crowd. He is a very underrated talent and his mic skills are good enough to not be completely overshadowed by his freakish athleticism. Rockstar Spud should get another opportunity at the championship and this could help him stay in a main spotlight. He was so hot with EC3 and transitioning to the BDC could still make him that ultimate underdog.
Drew Galloway defeated Low Ki
Pipe on a Pole match. Both men fight back and forth, with Ki getting hte upper hand with some kicks to Drew’s stomach. As both men struggle to reach the pipe, Galloway grabs the pipe and tries to use it. Ki kicks in and winds up, but Drew gets it, strikes him and hits Future Shock for the win.
A gimmick match that was simply average. Galloway continues to be a really good addition to TNA, but this was nothing that progressed his storyline with BDC. His win does what now?
