Isenberg Reacts: WWE Smackdown “No Cena, No Orton, Big Problem”

Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns defeated Luke Harper and Seth Rollins

wwe smackdownA main event featuring four of WWE’s best and youngest talent. The main event featured everything you expect, including Suicide Dives from Ambrose and Harper, Rollins controlling the pace and Roman Reigns getting the late action. This really helps elevate the Chicago Street Fight on Sunday between Ambrose and Harper. I just wish there was something, anything, on the line. This could be the match of the night, especially because both guys lay it all on the line every night.

I was confused to not see John Cena or Randy Orton used tonight. Orton could have easily gotten a quick RKO in, stood tall and really got people thinking he could win. We know he won’t, but more emphasis on Orton and Kane could have helped a bit. As for Kane, I appreciate his efforts and all that he has done, but I just do not care much for his involvement. I can see him trying to cost Seth Rollins and ending up hitting Randy Orton. He has failed in recent times, so chalk this one up on the big board.

When WWE phones in two feuds, thanks to not utilizing Randy Orton or John Cena, you get reminded why Smackdown is not that important.
