Dean Ambrose vs. Luke Harper
Ambrose and Harper go full throttle tonight. Both men exchange blows and Ambrose hits a suicide dive to the outside. Harper tosses Ambrose into the crowd and both men spill out into the fans. Dean Ambrose jumps from the barricade and gets hit in the mouth.
Dean Ambrose and Luke Harper continue to fight up the stage. Harper launches Ambrose into the LED boards. Harper is able to throw him off the stage, but he lands on his feet and looks for more. Harper runs off.
I like this, if it turns into a match at Extreme Rules. Although, I am not sure why they hate one another, aside from the spots from WrestleMania and the next night. I like the progression here because it helps two really talented guys have some sort of meaning each week. Hopefully, this leads to bigger things for Harper.
New Day vs. Lucha Dragons
Kalisto and Big E go face to face. Kalisto hits a few quick moves and Cara hits a cross body for a quick pin fall attempt. Kofi gets a shoulder block and Cara sends him across the ring. Cara hits a suplex and then slows down Kingston. Cara is throws to the outside and then gets a baseball kick. Kofi throws him back into the ring, kicks him and tags in Big E. Big E hits more punches and Cara tries to tag Kalisto
Big E hits a clothesline and we head to a commercial break. Kalisto gets the hot tag and he hits a corkscrew onto Kingston. He kicks him and then hits a nice hurricanranna. Both men head up top and hit moonsaults in stereo. As Kofi and Cara try to get into the ring, Woods hides under the ring and grabs his leg. New Day wins and heads to Extreme Rules.
That is good heel heat. I just am unsure if Cesaro and Kidd are now faces. I guess they are by default. Nonetheless, this was a really fun tag team match to watch and Kalisto could be the next Rey Mysterio. The guy is excellent.
Fandango defeated Curtis Axel
Axel and Fandango dance a little and both men get going. Fandango hits a dropkick and then a few clotheslines. He kicks him in the chest and hits a nice suplex. He goes up top and connects with the legdrop for the win.
I am not sure what the long plan is for him picking up multiple wins over guys just like him. Did anyone notice that WWE messed up by playing his heel music after the win? Interesting, but I just do not get why they are giving him match after match on Raw and Smackdown. Give me a reason why they are bringing him back from complete irrelevancy.
