Isenberg Reacts: Impact Wrestling Reaction “The Hardy’s Shine With New Gold”

The Hardy’s Defeated The Revolution

tnaIt is crazy to see Matt and Jeff still together, still putting on great matches and taking an opportunity to be the best out there. I never wish injuries on any talent, but The Wolves have time to step aside and let other teams shine. Matt and Jeff pick up the win after a really good contest with two “power” guys in Koya and James Storm.

Unfortunately, Storm gets the worst part of revenge. Storm accidentally hits Khoya with Last Call, which allows Matt to run in and hit a Twist of Fate.  Jeff heads up top and hits a Swanton for the win.

Great match to kick off a really interesting night of television ahead with the tag teams getting the primary focus. The Hardy’s picked up the win and you cannot hate that they are in the best shape of their lives and continue to evolve. One day, I would love to see the Matt Hardy heel in Ring of Honor in TNA. I can’t get the picture of him in a bath tub with money around him out of my mind. He knows how to be great in any company. Jeff is just the definition of speed and electricity. He does not need to say much to be one of the best.

Kenny King and Low Ki defeated Mr. Anderson and Rockstar Spud

BDC is represented in this match with King and picking up the win over two guys that TNA should work more with to put in primary storylines. Mr. Anderson has charisma, no doubt. His “on again, off again” time with TNA is confusing at times. I am not against his tag team with Spud, but I do think Spud needs to be that underdog that sticks up for himself and really focuses on a continued growth of his character and not a tag team.

Kenny King and Ki pick up the win and it was needed. You can’t have all tag teams faces and vice versa. King has been underutilized for years, but I do think he can do good things in a tag team. It limits him having to carry an entire match and Ki is a very capable guy to carry the technicality when King can grow on the depth of his character.
