Isenberg Reacts: WWE Raw “England Deserves Much Better”

Neville vs. Dolph Ziggler

wwe rawNeville hits a standing backflip and Ziggler fires back with a massive DDT. We head to a commercial break with Dolph in control.

Dolph Ziggler applies an arm bar and then throws Ziggler up in the air and on his stomach. He clotheslines him to the outside and hits a moonsault. He goes back into the ring and the countout begins. He begins to climb the barricade and hits a 360 splash from the barricade. Neville tries to pick Dolph but he connects with a Enziguri and Dolph hits a Superkick. Both men get to their feet and Neville kicks him in the head. He heads to the top and goes form the Red Arrow. He lands on his feet, but Ziggler throws him to the post and Ziggler hits Zig Zag for the win.

Wow. Neville is spectacular. He is just so smooth and athletic. I love him and did not think I would to be honest. Him and Ziggler put on a smooth and very fun match to watch for purists and fans of flash and chemistry. Sheamus lays out both men with Brogue Kicks after the match. Ziggler and Sheamus brawl to the outside and he hits a big elbow from the announce table. Sheamus throws him into the post and another Brogue Kick. This was, by far, the best and most complete segment. Great wrestling and a continued build for Sheamus.

Stipulations Added To Orton vs. Rollins

Randy Orton picked up a win against Cesaro and Tyson Kidd, after the match was restarted. After some offense back and forth, Orton catches Cesaro with an impressive RKO out of nowhere for the win. With this victory, Randy Orton is able to pick a stipulation for his match against Seth Rollins at Extreme Rules.

Kane and Seth Rollins square off, with the point of emphasis that Kane should lay down for Rollins. Kane struggles with himself the entire time. He chokeslams Rollins, but he puts Seth’s arm over his chest and Rollins wins. At the end of the night, Rollins bans the RKO and Randy Orton picks a Steel Cage Match.

Two good stipulations, but the thought of an incredible RKO off of the cage is eliminated. I think that it makes sense, but I was not in favor of Raw ending so anti-climactic like this. There comes a time where WWE needs to realize that the end of Raw needs to give us a cliffhanger, something to tell us that we absolutely have to tune in next week. Sometimes, it seems like they just let it go and do whatever they need to wrap up the night.

When a recent NXT Champion is the brightest spot of the night, especially since he lost, you have a problem.
