Kurt Angle vs. Lashley vs. Eric Young
Eric Young plays the great heel and waits for his chance to strike. He ties up Lashley’s leg and Angle hits a belly to belly suplex. Angle and Lashley head to the outside to get Young, who escapes a few times. He gets hit back and forth with strikes to the head.
Young hits a Piledriver onto Angle for a two count and Lashley saves the day. Young gets thrown to the outside. Lashley hits a powerslam and gets another close fall. Lashley hits a stalling suplex and then sets up a spear. He connects and young breaks up the count. Lashley leaps and it looks like his knee buckles. Angle hits some German Suplexes and takes over. He hits Young with a few German Suplexes and he locks in the Ankle Lock on Lashley. Young applies a Figure Four, but Lashley is able to fight out and Angle heads to the outside.
Lashley looks for a Spear and misses. He crashes into a chair and Young gets hit with an Angle Slam. Lashley gets one of his own. Angle hits a moonsault to Lashley and retains the championship.
Kurt Angle continues to be the definition of consistency. Lashley picks up the loss, but it seems to be his leg being the reason. I am surprised that Young did not take the loss, especially since we all know that he was used just to spice the feud up between Angle and Lashley. another great main event and another really good night of wrestling and developing storylines for the future.
