Randy Orton on Raw
Randy Orton makes his return and talks about getting taken out by Seth Rollins. He calls him out and The Authority makes their way down the ramp. Stephanie talks about the Randy Orton that is back, the one that everyone loves. Stephanie McMahon says that is the Randy Orton she wants as the face. Orton says he is going to bash Rollins’ brains in and is not part of The Authority. She asks for him to forgive Seth Rollins.
Stephanie asks Randy Orton to join The Authority. Randy says he would rather kick some a** over kiss some. Big Show begins to talk and the crowd boos him. Big Show says that he knows Randy will make the best decision and come back. Randy says he is not going to sell out. Steph says he has never been a good guy and talks about being a deplorable guy. Triple H now tries to persuade him, but says nothing. They end with him coming to a business meeting later tonight. He says he will be there.
We all know what is going to happen. Randy will tease them into joining The Authority. How good is it to see Orton back? He is such an established guy who has done so much. What he has not done is face Seth Rollins. That could be an incredible match and I like the immediate importance that this feud just got to open Raw.
Bad News Barrett vs. Dolph Ziggler
Dolph Ziggler and Barrett kicks things off. Barrett hits a few shots to the head and then kicks him in the stomach. Snap suplex and a headlock for Barrett. Barrett continues the attack with knees to the back. Dolph is able to fight out only to get his head slammed onto the mat. Dolph hits a dropkick and Barrett heads to the outside heading into a commercial break.
Ziggler creates some separation with some elbow shots. He hits a splash and unloads some punches. Ziggler reverses with a beautiful DDT and a two count. Barrett hits a stiff kick and then a powerbomb. Barrett targets the Bullhammer but Ziggler rolls him up for two and Barrett hits Winds of Change. Dolph tries another pinfall and moves to hit a ZigZag for the win.
Dean Ambrose gets into the ring with hit title and taunts Barrett. Dolph takes a look at the title and Ambrose rolls out of the ring.
Does this tell you what WWE is going to do? NO R-TRUTH! There are 10 other guys I would rather see in this match than Truth if they want to make it a Fatal Four Way. As a fan, give me Ziggler vs. Bryan. It is there to please the fans. A heel Sheamus would benefit more, but Ambrose and Barrett could have someone else added to the mix other than Ziggler. Doesn’t the guy deserve a singles match more important than the title?
