Bray Wyatt Comes Out To The Undertaker’s Music
The music goes out and druids come out. The heat and the spectacle of The Undertaker comes out. Bray Wyatt appears in a Casket. He talks about how The Undertaker has become just like everyone else, weak and broken. He says that The Undertaker is like everyone else. Bray Wyatt says that his mission is clear: Bray Wyatt is the new face of fear and that he says he will claim the soul of The Undertaker at WrestleMania.
Excellent. Bray Wyatt calls out The Undertaker in a casket. This was a really great segment. It was so simple and very logical. This could have saves a very mediocre event. His music still sends goosebumps and the fact that Bray Wyatt is one of the best storytellers tells you so much. He goes from John Cena to The Undertaker. Do you think that the WWE likes Bray Wyatt?
John Cena vs. Rusev
John Cena is able to finally ground Rusev and Rusev kicks Cena into the stomach. Rusev is in full control with more ground attacking. John Cena hits a dropkick and Rusev follows back with one as well. Cena hits a shoulder block, but gets caught and dropped with a body slam.
Rusev counters and begins to slow the pace down. He drags Cena around a bit and then Cena blocks him and unloads with some punches. He hits his shoulder tackles and then a 5 Knuckle Shuffle. Rusev hits a spinning slam and then targets his prey.
John Cena drags himself up, but kicks him in the face. Cena hits a nice Tornado DDT for a two count. Cena tries to hit the AA, but Rusev hangs on. John Cena applies the STF and Rusev is in danger. He breaks the hold and hits an Alabama Slam. Rusev comes back with more elbow drops to his back. Cena grabs his foot and locks in the STF again. Rusev kicks Cena in the ribs and in the face. Cena hits an Attitude Adjustment and kicks out at two. Cena heads up to the top and Rusev catches him with a Powerbomb. He applies The Accolade onto Cena. John Cena tries to fight out of the grip and gets to his feet. Lane gets into the ring and distracts the referee. Rusev hits a low blow and a kick. John Cena is knocked out and Rusev applies The Accolade. John Cena is out and Rusev wins.
This does SO much for Rusev. So much that I wonder what all they can do now for him and John Cena at WrestleMania. What is the draw? What is the storyline? This was everything Rusev needed tonight. He won. He knocked out Rusev. Would this be more effective in 5 weeks? Speak now!
