The Revolution Strikes Again
Matt Hardy comes out and talks about the condition of his brother, who took a sick spill a week ago. The Revolution does not waste much time and heads to the ring. James Storm leads an attack on Matt.
The Wolves run out and make the save. They stand next to Matt as Storm and his boys run off.
Without Jeff, this is the perfect way to keep me interested. Pair Matt with two guys that he respects and they respect him back. The Revolution, although a little random at times, are really good right now. Why? James Storm is just a great and believable heel. He reminds me of an old school redneck who cares about nobody but himself. TNA went the right route here tonight, keeping a feud going and moving forward with a few more pieces added. Matt and The Wolves can have some great matches with Storm and any combination of his partners. There are times where I love logic and common sense.
Lashley and Angle Take on the BDC
Lashley and Samoa Joe really get the action going. Lashley gets taken down with a suplex from Joe. Angle gets the tag and hits a few German Supelxes. He hits an Angle Slam onto Joe and MVP breaks up the count. Angle gets a few submission moves placed on him and Lashley gets the tag. He hits a side spear and then he hits a hanging suplex and a spinebuster. Samoa Joe breaks the count up and Angle gets back in. Angle is able to take down Joe with the Ankle Lock, as Lashley was setting up a spear. BDC picks up the win on a roll-up when Angle and Lashley were at odds.
The BDC picks up a much needed win and the primary focus is Angle and Lashley. Angle looks upset and Lashley looks like he is going to rip someone’s head off. They are the two guys in TNA that should be focusing on for the world title. With Roode in waiting again, TNA has a handful of guys that could step into a main event match with Lashley. The drama builds and this is a step in the right direction. Next week’s Gauntlet Match will be fun to watch. Angle MUST WIN.
