Adam Rose or Fandango?
Seeing Adam Rose in 3 minute matches, where they focus on his “Rosebuds” is becoming frustrating. He has to be frustrated as a performer. There has been so much wasted time on this.
I would have loved to see him off of television and return with a new song, new gear and new attitude. His split from his “buddies” is not important because THEY have never been important.
My question is this: Fandango and Adam Rose are good wrestlers with bad gimmicks. Who has the better opportunity to succeed at a higher level?
Alicia Fox vs. Paige
Both Divas put on a good match tonight on Smackdown. I thought that both women had a nice level of intensity and got an equal amount of offense in. You knew Paige was going to win and it was a strong effort from Fox. Alicia Fox throwing Paige through the ropes was a nice spot and was something that looked pretty painful. That was a nice way for Paige to look strong and overcome some adversity.
Rusev vs. Erick Rowan
Two big heavyweights do battle tonight, with Rusev getting most of the offense. Rowan did hit some big chops and a splash into the corner. Rusev hits a spin kick and gets to lock in his finisher. Rowan breaks free and gets some clotheslines in. Alas, Rusev is able to take down Rowan and make him tap out to The Accolade.
I don’t love the fact that Rusev dominates and John Cena is nowhere to be found. This is such a new and fresh feud that there needs to be fuel added to the fire on a weekly basis. Hell, more than once a week.
