Isenberg Reacts: WWE Raw “Where Logic Flies Out of the Door”

Daniel Bryan vs. Seth Rollins

wwe rawWhat a great main event for WWE Raw. Daniel Bryan and Seth Rollins can wrestle a phone book and put on an interesting match. Daniel Bryan hit a big suplex off the top rope, while Rollins tried to counter with a Curb Stomp. The Security Team is taken out and Daniel Bryan unloads with kicks. Rollins hits a nice DDT. Bryan tries to hit the knee and Rollins hits a corner powerbomb and then kicks him right in the chin.

The match continues and both men are spent. Big Show is still on the outside, cheering on Seth Rollins. Daniel Bryan is able to apply the Yes! Lock. Seth Rollins is able to get his feet on the rpes. Both men are on the outside and Roman Reigns comes out of nowhere with a wicked spear. He eyes up Seth Rollins and paces around the ring. He takes out the security with a spear. Jamie Noble has a briefcase and gets caught. Superman Punch to Rollins and Daniel Bryan gets ready for the running knee. He connects and picks up the win.

This is very surprising to me. Does WWE really want Daniel Bryan vs. Roman Reigns? Seriously? The only thing I can think of is that Reigns may be more of a heel heading into WrestleMania 31. WWE really has illogical plans in place. I just really cannot see Daniel Bryan and Brock Lesnar working. The size difference is too much. The technical portions of the match would be great, but can we suspend our belief THAT much?!

What a fantastic match, though. Seth and Daniel should be the championship match, right? I can watch these guys go for hours. The athleticism and talent they both posses are second to none and they showed it tonight. They saved a rather weak show.
