Cesaro vs. Jimmy Uso
Cesaro hits some uppercuts and then Jimmy kicks him to the outside. Cesaro steps outside and out of the way. Jimmy flies to the outside and takes out Cesaro with a splash. Cesaro hangs him up on the ropes and Jimmy kicks him in the midsection. He hits another and then Cesaro knocks him down with a kick.
Cesaro swings him around and then locks in a crab leg. Cesaro stomps with both feet and gets another two count. Jimmy connects with a Whisper in the Wind and gets a two count. Jimmy hits some more clotheslines and then tosses him to the outside. Cesaro slams his face off the table and then Jimmy kicks him in the face. He hits the Rikishi splash and then Tyson Kidd and Jey get into it on the outside. Cesaro hits a huge Uppercut for the win.
This makes me happy. Cesaro and Tyson Kidd are two of the best talents in the WWE. They are the most complete tag team in the WWE right now and deserve this push. Finally, WWE gives them some time in the ring and some time to develop more of a story in the ring. Well done, I really enjoyed this.
Dolph Ziggler vs. Bray Wyatt
Dolph Ziggler and Bray Wyatt get the top of the third hour with a great match. The highlights of the match was a suplex to the outside from the apron and then Dolph getting some of his action in. He hits a big dropkick and a DDT. Ziggler gets taken down with a clothesline and then fires back with some punches. Bray misses a splash and Ziggler hits a hanging DDT for two.
Wyatt struggles to get to his feet and Ziggler misses a corner splash. Bray runs over Dolph and then crawls to his prey. Ziggler kicks him in the knee and then gets a shot to his stomach. The match continues with both men putting it all on the line tonight. A match that keeps going back and forth and back again. Dolph punches and Bray headbutts. He exchange even more blows and then Wyatt gets hit with a Fameasser. Wyatt hits Sister Abigail for the win.
Bray and Dolph put on a clinic of a match. The pacing was really smooth, easily moving from a slower and meticulous match to more fast paced action to bring us home. Bray needs to win and win and win, hoping to face The Undertaker. When does he appear? Is this for certain? Does it l0se luster since there is no “streak?” I really thought that neither guy missed a beat here tonight and fed off of each other’s offense.
Paige defeated Alicia Fox
Paige picks up a quick win over Alicia Fox. The Bellas get into the ring and spray her with spray paint. They want to give her some color, making fun of her skin tone.
Uh, this was odd. I just did not connect with what they are trying to do. I laughed at the fact that a few fans chanted NWO. As for Paige, she certainly is getting that great crowd pop. She can take AJ’s place, no doubt.
