Casket Match Closes a Feud…Hopefully
Daniel Bryan gets offense going with some kicks. He kicks Kane to the outside and tries to hit a dive to take Kane into the Casket. The casket ends up closing and we head to a commercial break. Kane has full control after the break, focusing on his neck. Kane hits a suplex and hangs him on the ropes. He kicks Bryan and he is near the casket. Kane tries to push him into the casket, but Bryan kicks him in the face. Kane hits another big boot. Daniel Bryan wraps his legs and tosses Kane into the casket. Both men fight out of it and Bryan hits a flying splash from the top rope. He follows up with punches to the head.
Kane catches Daniel in the air and drives his back into the post. Bryan is thrown into the casket and is able to keep it from closing. Kane hits a DDT and Bryan reverses a clothesline with some kick. He hits a great suicide dive to the outside. Kane throws Bryan across the announce table and grabs a chair. After a chair shot, Daniel Bryan hits 3 running dropkicks and Kane chokeslams him. Back and forth they go, with more hard-hitting action. Bryan is finally able to kick him over and over until Kane falls into the casket and the door is shut.
We have seen these guys fight,what, three times since Daniel Bryan’s return. It is enough already. Daniel Bryan is good to go. He does not need to be protected anymore. This feud has been good, not great. Has any feud that Kane has been involved with over the past few years been great? We really need to figure out what to do with Daniel Bryan. I would LOVE him vs. Ziggler. It just would be simple to book and a 5 star match, if they get over 15 minutes of ring work.
