Divas Tag Team Action
Paige sends Nikki to the corner and Nattie hits an arm drag. Brie gets into the ring and Brie gets taken down with a double suplex. Paige connects with some head butts and then continuous knees to Brie’s stomach. Natalya hits a dropkick and then Brie fights out of an attempted sleeper. Brie hits a kick and then the referee is confused about who is supposed to be involved in the match. Paige gets in and hits a kick. Brie hits another move and then Nikki gets the tag. Nikki hits a running elbow and panders to the crowd.
Brie gets back into the ring and the twins are in full control. Brie hits a running knee and gets another two count. (What the hell is “Brie Mode?”) The twins hit a double team move. Natalya is being completely isolated and Paige is hit face first into the apron. Paige never gets the tag and the twins pick up the win.
I am not surprised by who won, but I am surprised about how they won. I really wanted to see Paige get in there and clean house. She hit a little bit of her offense early, but that was about it. Brie and Nikki have gotten better in the ring/ This was a decent match in terms of execution and pace/ I just question why they did not want Paige to be involved. I hope this is a sign that Paige will get her way back to the top. She is, by far, the most interesting Diva to me. I would have rather seen a Fatal Four Way match, but this was better than most Divas matches. Why? THEY HAD TIME!
