We’ve arrived at our first major, blockbuster, pay-per-view-selling, “co-main event” match for WrestleMania 31. It’s also one we’ve seen before. Many times.
I understand that people are generally looking for something “fresh” from WrestleMania, but if there has to be one final match in Brock Lesnar’s pro wrestling career, this is the one I want to see. No title on the line, no distractions, no outside interference – just Lesnar vs. Cena in the devil’s playground.
Let’s address the elephant in the room: neither of these guys are champion heading into March. That’s because – and we’ll get to this in the final chapter – Seth Rollins should leave the Royal Rumble this Sunday as WWE World Heavyweight Champion.
